1. RIGHT OF FREE TERMINATION

Under the terms of portuguese Decree-Law No. 24/2014, of February 14, applicable to distance contracts, the customer has the right to freely terminate a contract, without indicating a reason, within a maximum period of 14 days from the date of receipt of the order.

2. ORDER CANCELLATION

The customer may cancel their order if, within 24 hours, they send an email to reservations@barrilario.com expressly stating this intention.

3. ORDER RETURNS

After receiving the order, the customer has a period of 14 days to terminate the contract concluded on the site with the total or partial return of the order. To do so, they must notify Quinta São José do Barrilário by email at reservations@barrilario.com, by registered letter sent to our address, or by using the form on the contact page.

The customer must send the items they wish to return, within a maximum period of 14 days from the date of receipt of the order, accompanied by the respective proof of purchase, to the address “Rua da Argila, N.º 407, 4445-027 Alfena,” bearing the return costs. If the items cannot be returned normally by regular mail, the customer may request the collection service from Quinta São José do Barrilário via email at reservations@barrilario.com, indicating the desired collection day and address. The cost of this collection service is borne by the customer, and the amount varies according to the total weight of the items as indicated in the following table (collections in Mainland Portugal):

4. RETURN FOR EXCHANGE

If the customer wishes to exchange the returned items for other items, they should mention their intention when communicating the return, indicating which items they wish to receive in exchange. In this case, in addition to bearing the return shipping costs, the customer will also have to bear the shipping costs of the new items. If the value of the returned items is different from the value of the items requested in exchange, the differences will be adjusted.

5. RETURN FOR REFUND

If the customer wishes to refund the returned items, they should mention their intention when communicating the return. Whenever possible, the refund should be made via the same payment method within a maximum period of 10 working days. If this is not possible, the user must provide proof of IBAN for the refund to be made by bank transfer.

6. ELIGIBILITY FOR RETURN

Returned products must be in saleable condition, that is, in the same state in which they arrived in the customer’s hands, without any anomaly or damage. To complete the return, you must present the receipt or proof of purchase.
